Last Saturday, March 23rd, was a remarkable day at the RSE Robotics and STEM Education Academy, located in the heart of Lopez Jaena, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. This unique event was a day-long robotics workshop for five enthusiastic students and two dedicated teachers from Luisa Medel National High School. 

The workshop, running from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, was not just an ordinary day at the academy but a journey into the world of technology and innovation.The students, under the guidance of their teachers, Jete and Bernadeth Latoza, embarked on an ambitious project to build and program the Intelligent Storm Robot. For Art Tacio, it was his initial dive into such a sophisticated endeavor. The RSE Robotics and STEM Education Academy became a hub of creativity and learning, as each student, especially Art, navigated through the challenges of robotics with determination.Throughout the day, the academy buzzed with activity. It transformed into a collaborative space where ideas flourished and challenges were met with teamwork and innovation.

The workshop highlighted the importance of STEM education, showcasing how it fosters problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for learning among students.As the workshop reached its climax, the completion of Art Tacio’s Intelligent Storm Robot stood as a testament to the success of the day. It wasn’t just a triumph for Art but a victory for all the students, demonstrating that with the right support and resources, like those provided by RSE Robotics and STEM Education Academy, young minds can achieve great things.

The event wrapped up at 4:00 PM, leaving students and teachers alike reflecting on the day’s achievements. They had not only built a robot but had also taken a significant step forward in their educational journey.
